The two main founding corps of the alliance started as competitors to each other. Ok, not really, as one of them had specialized in ships & drones and the other in modules. But we knew of each other and had also already met in real life (even one corp being from Switzerland, the other from Germany). We then already started talking about possible synergies and cooperation possibilites. And in the mean time, both corps continued to grow rapidly.
A war dec from some griefer corp to Canis Industries in April 2009 made talks about an alliance a top priority again. Soon after the alliance has been founded, the war was ended and Tech3 Company joined up. After that, the planning of the joint operation intensified and the two philosophies of trade (Canis selling directly on the marked using numerious trade chars an all major hubs and Tech3 primarily selling through their web based shop) have been merged.
Officially since December 1st, together with the release of Eve Online 'Dominion', this web page went online - featuring information about this alliance and a combined shop where the products of all participating alliance corporations are sold.
